10 Things All Engineering Majors Understand

10 Things All Engineering Majors Understand

Welcome to the hardest major in school. Engineers know that great software can mean the world of difference,

1. Hearing your friends complain about their study schedule while secretly wishing you had such a small workload.

2. The course material is difficult, but the worst part is how time-consuming it is.

3. You can barely remember a time when math actually involved numbers.

4. Your parents said it was this or become a doctor.

5. Sometimes, exam questions ask you about the material you haven't learned yet. The professors will just grade you on your problem-solving process.

In other words: there's no such thing as feeling "confident" after you take an exam.

6. Classes that start with 60 students end with less than 20 by the time you’re a senior.

If the course is too challenging, don't even bother asking your teacher for help. They usually just encourage students to drop the class if it's too hard.

7. Data structures were more than likely created by Satan.

8. It's possible that you could be doing excellent work but still failing since everything is graded on a curve.
Alternatively, it's possible that everyone is doing terrible work and getting great grades.

9. Finishing your work with a group 20 minutes before class because nobody got any sleep last night.

10. When the internet goes out in your dorm, you become tech support for some reason.
